Q: How long does the application take to complete?
A: After completing the mortgage quick application, please plan for 30 minutes to complete your application with a member of our mortgage team.
Q: What are some pieces of information I’ll need to have with me in order to complete my application?
A: It is recommended you know the current balances of your credit union or bank accounts, your current gross annual income, and the balance of any IRA or 401K accounts you plan to document as assets. If you are refinancing, we also recommend you know the current balance of your home loan along with the approximate value of the home.
Q: Do I have to be a member of ONE VISION to apply for a mortgage?
A; No; however, if you are approved, you will need to become a member before closing.
Q: Do I have to have a home picked out before applying?
A: No. You can apply for a pre-approval and then go shopping knowing how much house you can comfortably afford. Your pre-approval is good for 90 days from the date the approval is given.
Q: What if I’m not comfortable applying online? Can I come in and apply personally?
A: Absolutely. Please contact a credit union mortgage loan officer at 812.945.4600 or stop by to complete the application and ask questions.
