Our Story
Here’s a story that might make you see us in a new light.
Our story began more than 70 years ago with ONE Vision. Father Xavier Knopp, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church believed all people deserved access to affordable financial services. His vision was so strong, it soon led to his establishment of St. Anthony’s Poverello Federal Credit Union in 1954.
Through the years, the credit union leaders and members worked together to continue his vision – growing membership eligibility at every turn and providing more access to the community.
But as the membership grew to include more than just Parishioners, a new name was needed.
ONE VISION.
Today, One Vision’s membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Clark, Floyd, or Harrison Counties.
An evolved membership and a new name. Those things are different. But Father Knopp’s vision for the credit union has not changed. We remain focused on providing affordable financial resources and solutions to our community.
That’s better banking.
